The Endocrine Alignment
To the modern scientist, "Chakras" sound like fairy tales.
But if you ask a Yogi where the "Root Chakra" (Survival) is, they point to the base of the spine.
If you ask an anatomist where the Adrenal Glands (Survival/Adrenaline) are, they point to the same spot.
This is not a coincidence. The Chakras are not metaphorical flowers; they are control panels for the Endocrine System.
1. Muladhara (Root) -> Adrenals
- Function: Survival, Fight or Flight.
- Hormone: Cortisol, Adrenaline.
- State: Fear. When this is overactive, you are in survival mode.
2. Svadhisthana (Sacral) -> Gonads
- Function: Reproduction, Creativity.
- Hormone: Testosterone, Estrogen.
- State: Desire.
3. Manipura (Solar Plexus) -> Pancreas
- Function: Digestion, Willpower ("Gut Feeling").
- Hormone: Insulin, Glucagon.
- State: Action.
4. Anahata (Heart) -> Thymus
- Function: Immunity, "Heartbreak" (physical pain).
- Hormone: Thymosin (T-Cells).
- State: Compassion/Defense.
5. Vishuddha (Throat) -> Thyroid
- Function: Metabolism, Voice.
- Hormone: Thyroxine (T4).
- State: Expression.
6. Ajna (Third Eye) -> Pituitary
- Function: The Master Gland. Controls all others.
- Hormone: Somatotropin, TSH, FSH.
- State: Insight/Control.

The Inheritance of Perspective
When a Yogi says their "Throat Chakra is blocked," they are describing a subjective sensation of tightness or inability to speak their truth. A doctor might call it a tight cricothyroid muscle or a suppression of the Vagus nerve. They are describing the same hardware failure to launch.

Clinical Context: HPA Axis Dysregulation
>
1. The Feedback Loop: The Hypothalamus (Brain) signals the Pituitary (Third Eye), which signals the Adrenals (Root). This is the HPA Axis.
2. Burnout: Chronic stress creates a feedback loop where the Root (Adrenals) screams so loud that the Third Eye (Pituitary) stops listening. This is "Desensitization."
3. Healing: You cannot "think" your way out of adrenal fatigue. You must use the body (Rest/Ida dominance) to signal safety to the glands.
