The Return (Life)

Coming Down the Mountain
The most important part of the trip is not the peak. It is the Return.
In Zen, the final stage of enlightenment is "Entering the Marketplace with Helping Hands."
You do not stay in the cave. You return to the city, to your job, to your family.
If your spirituality makes you weird, unrelatable, or dysfunctional, it is failed spirituality.
The goal of the Sacrament is to make you a Better Human, not a wizard.
- Better at listening.
- Better at loving.
- Better at working.
The Integrated Life
The Householder Yogi does not reject the world. They embrace it.
Cannabis teaches you that the "Magic" is not just in the temple; it is in the dishes, the diaper change, the commute.
When the "High" wears off, the "Insight" stays.
- The insight that everything is connected.
- The insight that compassion is logic.
- The insight that this moment is enough.
The Final Instruction
Treat the plant like a Visiting Master.
When the Master comes (when you smoke), sit at their feet and listen.
When the Master leaves (when you are sober), practice what they taught you.
Do not cling to the Master. Do not beg them to stay (Addiction).
Let them go, knowing they will return when you are ready for the next lesson.
The Sacrament is valid. The Practice is work. The Result is freedom.
